Well, they do enjoy the friendship. Not
as fun and exciting as it started out, but very enjoyable. Although
some things that have been discontinued have been very much missed.
Now the Pirate Princess is on a quest of her own. The Commadore would
like to participate in the quest but, is afraid of getting too
involved and losing himself like he did with the Serpent woman I
think. Or afraid he will miss something along the way. Or miss the
chance to be with the Serpent woman again. Or just other women.
In the meanwhile there have been signs
everywhere of what could be, if not ignored. Signs of finding
themselves in the same places having missed each other by minutes.
Finding the building and both having thoughts of a Coffee House. The
Pirate princess having Trout figures given to her by a grandson, and
not realizing they were carvings of trout. Of the garnet ring she
wore, a symbol of his birth month, that was also given to her by the
same intuitive grandson, because she needed it more than her own blue
birthstone. all signs, but what to do about them or with them? What
do they mean?
Then again, it seems the Commadore has
commitment issues to deal with. He wants a relationship but when the
woman is ready he ..runs. Setting boundaries that only benefit him,
and creating an atmosphere of discontent with the women he is
involved with.
So does the Princess wait..or take off
for the high seas and adventure on her own? Who knows if the
Commadore would even notice her gone, as he has all his other
"friends" to keep him from being alone. And a whole sea
from which to gather more.
Only time can finish this story. And
the two people involved. What a story it could be if given a real
chance....
